Send off your orders sustainably with HEROKRAFT paper mailers. These paper mailers are made with 100% recycled paper (post-consumer used) and are compostable AND curb side recyclable.

These paper shipping mailers can be custom printed in full colour (logos or photos) with a minimum order quantity of just 25 mailers. Simply select "YES - ADD MY LOGO" and upload your artwork. We'll send through a print proof and then print your full order. Printing times depend on the quantity ordered.
How to get custom HEROKRAFT paper mailers
1. Choose your size and quanity
2. Upload your high res logo/artwork (we require high res PDF or .ai files)
3. Purchase your mailers
4. OPTIONAL: Use this template to show us where you want your logo to be placed. Email it to us at hello@heropackaging.com.au
5. We will send you an approval via email
6. Once approved, your mailers will be placed be printed and shipped (This is usually a 5-7 business day turnaround)

But are they water-proof, you ask? They are absolutely rain-resistant. Check out our video on Instagram to see the water-resistance in action!
Each of the mailers comes with a secret bottom gusset which gives the mailers much more extra space to put more products.
They are thick and sturdy and will withstand the bumps and throws of courier deliveries.
These HEROKRAFT mailers have no printing to keep a clean eco-friendly look.
These paper mailers come in 3 sizes:
- Small: 19 x 26cm
- Medium: 25.5 x 33cm
- Large: 31 x 40.5cm
SIZING NOTE: Sizes displayed are external dimensions. The internal width will be approximately 2cm less than the external dimensions. Please keep this in mind when purchasing to ensure your products fit.
Please note for custom orders: we can print in full colour (multiple colours in your artwork) but cannot print in white. Any white backgrounds in your artwork will not print. If your actual logo/text artwork is submitted in white, it will be converted to black for printing. If you have any issues uploading your artwork, you can place your order as usual including custom printing, leave a note on your order, and email the artwork to us separately at hello@heropackaging.com.au. Paper Mailer FAQs
What’s the difference between HEROKRAFT and HEROHEX?
HEROKRAFT is a non-padded paper mailer made from 100% recycled paper, with a bottom gusset for extra room. HEROHEX is a padded paper mailer with a double layer of honeycomb “hex” paper cushioning, ideal for glass, cosmetics, books and other items that need extra protection.
What are they made from?
HEROKRAFT mailers are made from 100% post-consumer recycled paper. HEROHEX mailers are made from strong kraft paper with eight layers of paper protection.
Are they recyclable?
Yes. Both are kerbside recyclable with paper and cardboard. HEROKRAFT mailers are also compostable.
Do paper mailers need extra protective packaging?
HEROHEX’s honeycomb cushioning removes the need for extra protective packaging for most items. HEROKRAFT is not padded, so wrap fragile items first — HERO Hex Wrap works well.
Are paper mailers water resistant?
HEROKRAFT mailers are rain-resistant.
What sizes are available?
All sizes are external dimensions; allow about 2cm less on the internal width.

Do paper mailers have a shelf life?
No. Our paper mailers don’t have a shelf life; just store them somewhere cool and dry.
Can I get them printed with my logo?
Yes. Both can be custom printed in full colour (logos or photos) from just 25 mailers. Select “YES – ADD MY LOGO” and upload a high-res PDF or .ai file. Double-sided printing is available on request — email us for a quote.
Can you print white?
No. White backgrounds in your artwork won’t print, and white logos or text are converted to black. Slight variations in print size and colour are normal.
How long does custom printing take?
We email a PDF proof within 2–3 business days. After you approve it, printed samples dispatch in 2–3 business days; bulk orders of 25–100 in 3–4 business days, 250–500 in 5–6, and 1,000+ in 7–10.
What if my artwork won’t upload?
Place your order with custom printing selected, leave a note, and email your artwork to hello@heropackaging.com.au. We’ll match it to your order.
Can I order a sample?
Yes, choose “1 – SAMPLE UNIT” in the quantity drop-down, plain or printed.
Can I use paper tape on them?
Yes. Our water-activated HEROTAPE EXPRESS works on HEROHEX and other paper-outer mailers.
Can I return them?
Unprinted mailers can be returned for store credit within 14 days of purchase (handling, restocking and original shipping costs are deducted). Printed orders can’t be returned once printed. See our Shipping & Returns page.

General Shipping Information
Same-day dispatch for orders placed before 12pm AEST/AEDT on business days. All other orders ship the next business day. Holiday trading hours may differ — check our website for the latest.
Australia Post is currently delivering as normal. Choose Express Post at checkout if you need products quickly. Sydney customers also have same-day delivery options at checkout.
Some delivery delays may apply. Please allow extra time and check your tracking link before contacting us. Keep buffer stock on hand to avoid running out.
In-Stock (Ready to Ship) Orders
Orders placed before 12pm AEDT on a business day are dispatched same day. You'll receive a shipping confirmation with tracking details as soon as your order leaves our warehouse.
Our order system is highly automated — we cannot amend or change orders once placed under any circumstances. If you need to return mailers, please see our returns information below.
Unforeseen events such as natural disasters may impact dispatch times. Check our website for the most up-to-date information.
Custom Printed Orders
All custom orders begin with a PDF proof — allow 2–3 business days. Printing only starts after you approve the proof. All timings below are from proof approval.

Australian Orders
Allow 2–8 business days after your order has been dispatched.
Allow 1–3 business days after dispatch. Select at checkout.
Select warehouse pick-up or same-day delivery options directly at checkout.

International Orders
Allow 5–20 days depending on your country. Estimated times display in checkout once your address is entered.
Allow 3–7 days to New Zealand, Canada, USA, UK, and other supported countries.
Orders shipped outside Australia are classified as imports in the destination country. You are responsible for paying any applicable import duties and taxes to clear customs.
The shipping carrier will contact you using your order details. If duties are not paid, the shipment will be diverted to commercial composting and cannot be returned. No refunds apply in these cases.
Returns Information
If you've purchased the wrong size or no longer need your mailers, you may be able to return them for store credit within 14 days of purchase. No change-of-mind returns are accepted after this period due to the shelf life of our mailers.

Sometimes things don't go to plan — and we'll always make it right. Resolutions can include product replacements, store credits, or refunds.
If you have a product issue, please contact us for instructions. We'll generally ask for photos or a short video of the issue to provide the fastest possible resolution.
Pre-Order Information
When a product is out of stock it may move to a pre-order listing. This will be clearly noted on the product page and in your order confirmation.
If you order a pre-order item alongside in-stock items, your entire order is held until pre-order stock is available. We cannot partially ship orders.
Tip: Place pre-order and in-stock items in separate orders to avoid delays.
